This is the last time I will bring my cat to this veterinary clinic, and I would not recommend it to anyone. My cat was treated here for cystitis, and the vet accidentally prescribed a medication intended for dogs, resulting in a dosage that was more than double what was appropriate for a cat. Two weeks later, we had to return because the cystitis came back. Another vet at the clinic, realized that our cat had been given the wrong dosage because was a medicine for DOGS. As a result, they had to perform blood tests. Luckily, there was no further consequences on her internal organs, but this does not exempt them of the fact that could have ended in a terrible result. What is most disappointing is that despite the stress caused to our cat and to us, the clinic still charged us for the new consultation and treatment. They also refused to refund the cost of the original consultation and the incorrect medication prescribed. This situation reflects a serious lack of responsibility, professionality and accountability.

Every one is so friendly and they listen to you, also they go beyond the call of duty, nothing is too much trouble

Brilliant service as always! Our cat was overweight and with the help of Raquel he is now at the perfect weight. Thank you so much Raquel for your care, help and support, always checking on us, calling us even if our check up was with another nurse. Special thanks to Abbie and Jenny on reception they are always so helpful and always with a smile on their face. Thank you all!

Every year I dread taking Connie, my working cocker, to the vet for her vaccinations, because she gets so anxious and distressed. But Emma and Isla (I hope I have their names correctly!) are so calm, competent, and confident that I really need to stop worrying. They just get on with it, and it’s all done in seconds. Very professional indeed. And the reception staff are excellent too. What on earth was I worried about?! I promise to be more relaxed next year!

I have been attending Craigleith vets 4 pets for a number of years now with my 2 furry friends. The staff are attentive and professional. I like the flexibility of having access to routine appointments 7 days per week. Expensive, but probably the same at every vet. Would recommend this practice.

Booked an appointment the same day and was seen promptly upon arrival. The vet was quick, professional, and provided effective treatment with clear recommendations. Excellent service!
